Gladys Johannessen (Clinical Psychologist)

Gladys is a Clinical Psychologist with ten years of experience with treating a diverse range of mood and mental health problems.
Gladys is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy as well as other effective therapies such as Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.She has experience in treating Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Anxiety, Depression, Emotion dysregulation, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Adjustmentdifficulties to issues such as interpersonal problems, workplace injury, grief and loss, and other significant life changes.
Gladys has an interest in the treatment of trauma in adults. She has recently completed the training to become a provider for Cognitive Processing Therapy. This structured therapy has shown to be effective in treating a wide range of trauma and is endorsed by the Department of Veteran Affairs in the United States.
Gladys received her clinical training at the Australian National University. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, a member of the Australian Psychological Society and a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.
