Last Updated - 07.05.2023: Awareness Psychology Clinic is currently operating via both telehealth and face to face. There will be times when your psychologist need to isolate or when the clinic might need to be closed. In those circumstances we will operate via telehealth when possible. When the clinic is open for face to face, the policies and procedures below apply.
Awareness Psychology Clinic has a covid-19 policy that reflects the potential risk of transmission at our office site. While no policy will eliminate the risk of covid-19 being transmitted at our office completely our policy aims to take reasonable steps to minimise the risk of this occurring.

We love running our practice and so we want to be able to keep each other safe and healthy over the winter season. Please know that the decision to implement these measures have been made with the safety of the most vulnerable people who attend the clinic in mind. We trust that you will welcome these policies, however, please feel free to get in touch if you have questions or concerns about how these policies might impact you in your particular situation.
Warmly,
Awareness Psychology Clinic Team
Important parts of our covid-19 policy that all patients need to be aware of are listed here:
- Face to face appointments inside the office are available. We also offer telehealth for those who prefer this, and may be able to offer a face-to-face session outdoors in some circumstances.
- During periods of heightened risk, we may choose to restrict access to face to face appointments.
- During periods of heightened risk, you may be asked to take a Rapid Antigen Test if you attend in person.
- You must be symptom free to attend face to face appointments at all times. Please DO NOT attend when symptomatic.
- You should not arrive earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointments (we want to minimise traffic in the reception area).
- Consider wearing a mask when you attend that covers your mouth AND nose.
- You must be willing to have your temperature checked upon request.
- Please practice hand hygiene and social distancing at the office. Hand sanitiser is available for you to use.
