Cancellation/Non Attendance Policy
Like most health related businesses (like dental, physiotherapy or medical practices), most clinical psychology practices charge a fee for late notice cancellation or non-attendance. At APC, all practitioners charge a fee for late cancellation within 48 hours. Speak to your psychologist for details.
Psychological Testing
Your psychologist may sometimes suggest using various measures or tests to assist with diagnosis, monitoring of symptoms or to measure effectiveness of therapy. Many of the tests that we use are free of charge, however some of the more complex or time consuming tests cost money for us to use and therefore have a fee attached to them. You will always be told the fee for any testing up front and have the choice about whether to go ahead with testing or not. If you would like a report from any testing completed, you are able to request one and will be advised of any cost involved before a report is created.
