COVID-19 UPDATE
PLEASE NOTE UPDATE JANUARY 2021: We are currently experiencing increased demand and a high volume of calls to the clinic. Because of this we have disabled the online booking feature on our website. If you are a new patient and would like to enquire about making  a booking, please use the contact form provided on the contact page and submit a query with your name, phone number, and what you would like assistance with and we will reply as soon as we can.
Please be aware that Matthew is only accepting new bookings for those wanting WPATH assessments and is unable to accept new patients for ongoing treatment. This will be  updated monthly.
If you do call the clinic, please leave a voicemail message so that we can call back when we are able to.

ABOUT AWARENESS PSYCHOLOGY CLINIC

Awareness Psychology Clinic was established in 2017 in Brighton Victoria. We are psychologists who share the same clinic space for our work (and referrals!), but we operate independently.  For this reason, we each have slightly different processes, hours of operation and methods of practice.

When you call to make an appointment at APC we will help you to work out which therapist may be right for you and your unique situation. We can then book you in to your preferred therapists' diary directly, and provide you with that therapists' direct phone number for future contact.

APC is explicitly and unashamedly an LGBTIQA+ friendly service. We want APC to be a safe place for absolutely everyone to be. No matter your background or circumstance or whatever issues you are dealing with - we want you to feel free to be yourself.

We have a particular interest in offering WPATH assessments and letters for gender affirming HRT and surgery. We also have an interest in helping those struggling to recover from sexual orientation and gender identity change efforts (SOGICE survivors), a history of abuse or bullying within religious environments, or those who want to find harmony with both their sexual orientation and spiritual beliefs.
